On 10^th of October, the University of Georgia hosted the opening of a new type of innovation center - Startup Factory, which is meant to support innovations and start – up projects among students  to help them develop and implement innovative business ideas. 

The innovation center will provide  students and other interested individuals in general, with a special environment for trainings, seminars and short courses as well as mentorship.

Trainings will be conducted by Georgian and Foreign specialists and practitioners. Trainings will help students create innovative products and services.  UG Startup Factory is going to cooperate with local and international incubators and accelerators.

The event was attended by representatives of private sector, banking sector, academic sphere, students and staff of the University of Georgia.
